How Notabium works
Notabium is an app for in-person meetings. You record the conversation on your computer or phone, and Notabium writes the transcript split by speaker, a summary, action items, minutes and a follow-up email in the language of the meeting.
On a computer
- Open app.notabium.com in your browser and sign in. Nothing to install.
- Choose the meeting language and press record. Recording continues when you switch to another window.
- With internet on, you see the live transcript and can ask the meeting questions while it runs.
- If the Wi-Fi drops, recording goes on and is saved in the browser. After reconnecting you send it with one click.
On a phone
- Today you record in the web app: open app.notabium.com in your phone’s browser and sign in.
- Apps for Android and iPhone are coming soon to Google Play and the App Store.
- In the app you put the phone on the table and press record. It records even with no signal.
- Once the phone is online again, the recording uploads by itself.
From an audio or video file
- Upload a recording from a voice recorder or another app: MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, FLAC, OGG, OPUS, WEBM, AMR, 3GP, MP4, M4V or MOV, up to 500 MB.
What you get after the meeting
- A transcript split by speaker. You can rename speakers and fix a word.
- A summary with decisions, amounts and dates that were said.
- Action items with names, and deadlines if they were mentioned.
- Formal minutes and a follow-up email or message from a template.
- Answers to your questions about one meeting or across meetings.
- Playback from any sentence, translation of the notes and sharing by link.
What Notabium is not
- It does not join Zoom, Google Meet or Teams calls and sends no bot anywhere.
- It is not a browser extension. You record in the web app in your browser.
- It does not record on its own. You start and stop the recording, and you tell the others first.
Languages
Transcription handles Slovak, Czech, English and many other languages. The summary and email are written in the language of the meeting. The app itself is in English, Slovak and Czech.
Prices and limits are on the pricing page. How we handle recordings is in the privacy policy.
